The Croatian Law Centre, as an implementing partner and with the financial support of UNHCR, within the framework of the project “Legal assisstance and capacity building on access to the territory in Croatia” held a meeting of the Coordination of Asylum on May 27, 2026. The meeting took place at the premises of the Croatian Red Cross in Zagreb and brought together representatives of key institutions and organizations involved in the international protection system.
The topic of the meeting was “Rights of applicants for and beneficiaries of international protection: health and work”.
In the first part of the meeting, dedicated to the right to health and healthcare, introductory presentations were delivered by representatives of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Croatia, the organization Médecins du Monde, and the Centre for Culture of Dialogue. The second part focused on the right to work and the employment of applicants for and persons under international protection, with presentations by representatives of the Croatian Employment Service and the Centre for Culture of Dialogue.
