Partners: Activities are implemented by students of the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb, under the expert guidance of Karlo Kožina, mag. iur. et spec. iur., Assistant Professor at the Department of Administrative Science.

Objective: In line with the objectives and priorities of the Call, the project aims to engage young people in a structured discussion on the new priorities of EU action through information and communication.

Activities:
The project relies on the involvement of student demonstrators from the Department of Administrative Science at the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb. Under mentorship, students will select speakers, organize, and carry out a half-day conference dedicated to the priorities of the new European Commission, with a special emphasis on informing and engaging youth.
Speakers will be chosen from among the academic and scientific community, Croatian officials and representatives in EU institutions, public figures, and others.
Students will promote the conference through thematic posts prior to the event, and disseminate the summary and conclusions of the discussion via social media to their peers and the broader youth population.

According to the preliminary plan, the conference program will include lectures on the following topics:

  • European values as an integrative factor in the EU and the role of citizens in their protection
  • Towards the development of a European Defence Union
  • European mechanisms for informing the public: Is there truth in the 21st century?

The conference will conclude with a panel discussion titled “The EU – Ready for the Future?”
