On March 25, 2025, a workshop “From Fleeing the Country of Origin to Reuniting with Family” was held in the premises of Croatian Law Centre. The aim of the workshop was to strengthen the competencies of city of Zagreb administration employees in the field of integration of foreigners. The workshop was organized in cooperation with and with the financial support of the City of Zagreb.
Participants gained insights into key concepts related to the international protection and migration system, the procedure for granting international protection, as well as the rights of applicants for international protection and persons under international protection. The main topic of the workshop focused on the family reunification of refugees, covering the conditions, stages of the procedure, and the challenges that may arise during the process.
